Dominator 39

Designed by the renowned Raymond Hunt of Bertram fame and the mastermind behind the deep-vee hull, this Dominator was built in Australia by Dominator Marine Launched in the early 1990s. Repowered and extended by Salthouse to 42 feet LOA in 2000. 

12.93m LOA 4.06m Beam 0.911m Draft.

Very similar to a Riviera 39 just a touch smaller all round and not as flash inside, but 1/3 of the price.

Or very Similar to a Caribbean 35, but more length in the saloon.

Solid GRP construction. Glass front window screens in flybridge. Hull was soda blasted and epoxy barrier coated in 2016. Game fishing machine with enormous teak cockpit, teak fighting chair, 8m outriggers, walk-thru transom, duckboard with two large livebait tanks and centre rubbish storage. Custom stainless bait station, hot/cold shower, sink, salt water washdown. Fighting chair can be swapped out with the teak table when cruising. Two Large Lazzerate hatches for storage of all the toys.


Interior 5 berths in 2 cabins - queen berth in the forward cabin, double + single berth in starboard cabin. Overflow berths in the flybridge and salon. LPG oven and hob, microwave. Corian bench tops, 85l fridge/freezer, additional 12v 140l SS-lined fridge in cockpit. Lots of internal storage. 600L Stainless water tank. 80L HWC. Electric toilet, hot Shower to heads.

POWERTRAIN: twin Volvo Penta TAMD63P turbo aftercooled engines 370 HP each, cruises 18kt max 26kt, 3100 hours. Excellent access around engines for maintenance.

Twin 1-3/4 shafts with Henley Tiger 5 blade props, new dripless lip seals, TwinDisc MG5061A 2:1 hydraulic transmission, ZF MicroCommand controllers.

Meticulously maintained with last service completed by OVLOV in December 2024.

Barnacle buster is cycled through the cooling system annually .

Fuel burn is approx 80L per hour around 2100rpm, about 88L at 2600rpm at 21kts. 20kts at about 2500rpm.
